Motocyklom RSV4R chce Aprilia sprístupniť motocykel s najmodernejším designom, technológiami širšej skupine nadšencov.Motor do V65 disponuje výkonom 201k, elektronicky riadeným plynom RIDE-BY-WIRE ,duálnymi vstrekovačmi a prepínaním palivových máp, ktoré je možné meniť za jazdy.

Rám motocykla je vyrobený z hliníkovej zliatiny,odpruženie motocykla je plne nastaviteľné, brzdy od firmy Brembo s radiálnym uchytením , hliníkové odľahčené kolesá a miesto pre spolujazdca. To sú prednosti Aprilie RSV4 RF.

Aprilia RSV4 RF je čistý superšport vytvorený na základoch motocykla, ktorý jazdil na závodnej trati. Rám a zadné kyvné rameno je vyrobené z hliníku použitím rovnakej technológie ako v GP.
